The implementation of energy performance contracts (EPCs) by the government is expected to boost private sector building owners’ confidence to adopt the EPC model, says Cenergi SEA Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned renewable energy (RE) company of Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

Malaysian renewable energy firm Cenergi RE has entered into a Green Club facility of up to RM100 million with MIDF Investment Bank and China Construction Bank Malaysia. The proceeds will be used to fund the company’s biogas-to-energy (BTE) projects in the country.
CENERGI RE Sdn Bhd plans to build nine biogas-to-energy (BTE) plants after obtaining a Green Club Facility of RM100m, equally provided by MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd and China Construction Bank Malaysia Bhd (CCB).

The Manjung Municipal Council (MMC), along with the Manjung District Education Office has successfully concluded Sayangi Malaysiaku: MalaysiaBersih, an environmental education programme involving 120 students here.
