Plant Head cum Chargeman B0-11kV – Astana Endah, Manjung, Perak
  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in Electrical – BO 11KV from ILSAS TNB Integrated Learning Solution or Bachelor’s degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or preferably both;
  • At least 4 – 5 year(s) of working experience in biogas industry, power industry, palm oil mill or related field is required for this position;
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English;
  • Experience in managing operating staff, dealing and negotiating with contracted staff and contractors;
  • Experience in facility management and power generation fields are an advantage;
  • Operating, process control and plant troubleshooting experience;
  • Have hands on experience in electrical, control and/or mechanical maintenance works related to chillers, pumps, motors, and engines; and
  • Any Allen Bradley PLC, ABB controllers and inverters experience is preferable.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Fully in charge of stepping up transformer room, electrical and instrumentation installation;
  • Supervise operation team and contractors, manage operations, maintenance and servicing of the plants and work with the feedstock supplier (mill) to ensure continuous running of the plants;
  • Monitor and inspect equipment, computer terminals, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks of malfunctions and to ensure equipment is operating in good condition;
  • Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of all equipment and electrical instrument within internal capability;
  • Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practice in order to deliver quality field operation;
  • Order replacement parts, communicate, direct, and manage contractors on maintenance or repairing tasks;
  • Conduct technical and safety trainings to Operators and Engine Drivers / Shift Supervisors;
  • In-charge of Safety officer in development of safety documentation;
  • Manage and direct assigned operation resources and contractors to ensure proper planning and timely execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance works;
Financial Controller
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Professional qualification like ACCA / CPA / ICAEW etc, and a member of MIA
  • At least 10 years of working experience with past 5 years in senior finance roles

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Managing all financial and accounting operations. Proactively identifies and supports functional initiatives and actions to achieve team target.
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Ensuring the team deliver on critical priorities and milestones at high quality level such as preparing and publishing time monthly financial statements, provision of regular and ad-hoc financial reporting.
  • Financial risk management, to provide insightful reporting on variances, if any, including actions taken to mitigate and correct.
  • Ensure corporate guidelines and policies are adhered to and that all tax, statutory and legal obligation are met.
  • Own the balance sheet and cash flow including understanding the movement, driving accuracy, managing provisions and accruals, reviewing and leading correctness actions, accurate inventory balances.
  • Lead and manage the continuous improvement of finance standard tools and processes to improve productivity and effectiveness, including ERP system.
  • Lead continuous improvement of internal process to ensure control, integrity and efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive advice to the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team on financial, accounting, tax, compliance and other regulatory related policies and issues besides the day-to-day operations of the Finance Team.
  • Establish relationships with all the business units to drive business performance. Ensure all relevant parties are aware of financial forecasts, budget requirements / constraints.
Engineer / Senior Engineer, Biomass
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial industry, preferably in wood, paper, or palm oil industry
  • Strong competence in writing, business presentations and interpersonal communication
  • Meticulous, Attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong command of English and Malay (both written and verbal)
Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Closely monitor overall project costs to ensure no overruns.
  • Improve throughput and reduce variation, improve reliability of the equipment, and generate more consistency and uptime of an existing biomass pellet plant.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all factors and conditions that impact the processes, product, and equipment reliability.
  • Manage record keeping for all procurement-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts made with partners and / or vendors to ensure delivery of products or services efficiently and to mitigate risks to the company.
  • Perform other tasks required by Management as and when necessary.
