Cenergi SEA Bhd, a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Bhd and Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd (FSSB) partners to offer integrated sustainable solutions including solar energy.
Cenergi signed a strategic business alliance agreement with Fabulous Sunview to partner in developing solar photovoltaic projects and also provide sustainable solutions.
Under this strategic alliance, Cenergi will be the project developer, investor, and operator, while FSSB will be the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) partner.
CEO of Cenergi group, Hairol Azizi Tajudin said, “We are excited to join forces with a reputable organisation like FSSB to offer sustainable energy solutions to clients in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.”
“The company will also help them to accelerate their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) agenda and to support the government’s aspiration to increase renewable energy (RE) capacity to 40% by 2035 and towards carbon neutral status as early as 2050,” added Hairol.
“Aside from C&I projects, FSSB is currently constructing approximately 11MWp ground-mounted solar farms under the NEDA scheme for Cenergi. We look forward to delivering more projects for Cenergi in the future,” he said.
Both the companies will develop more than 25 MW solar power projects in Malaysia which also includes rooftop solar installations and large-scale solar farm. This partnership also plans to add more 100 MW large scale solar programmes and 15 MW of rooftop solar power projects every year for next 3 years.
