KUALA LUMPUR, 26 November 2019 – Cenergi was awarded Best SME award at the Sustainable Business Awards (SBA) Malaysia 2019 for second consecutive year, having secured the similar prize in the inaugural event last year.
Cenergi Chief Corporate Officer, Loo Kin Han, and Sustainability Executive, Atiqah Zakaria accepted the awards on behalf of Cenergi from Minister of Entrepreneur Development YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan.
Atiqah Zakaria said “Cenergi is honoured to be receiving the award for two years in a row. This award serves as a motivation for us to continue to champion Sustainability in our company’s vision in hopes to increase our contribution to the environment”.
Organised by Global Initiatives in collaboration with PwC Malaysia, Nova Fusion, and Control Union, the SBA recognizes companies for their outstanding performance on environmental and social sustainability, highlighting their successes with aim to increase awareness on sustainable business best practices and demonstrate how sustainable business benefits companies, the environment, and all stakeholders.
