Cenergi is advancing renewable energy with Bio-Compressed Natural Gas (BioCNG) — a clean alternative to conventional natural gas made by upgrading biogas from palm oil mill effluent (POME).

BioCNG enables us to capture and convert biogas from mills located far from the grid, turning waste into valuable fuel for industrial use and natural gas vehicles. Our flagship plant in Lahad Datu, Sabah, will produce 65,000 MMBtu annually, making it one of the largest BioCNG projects in Southeast Asia.

This solution not only reduces emissions but also supports energy access in remote areas while helping palm oil mills monetise their waste sustainably.
